CLEARFIL™ DC CORE PLUS is a dual-cure (light-cure with self-curing property), radiopaque, two-component core build-up material supplied in an automix delivery system for esthetic and reliable restorations. The self-curing property of this new core material is the solution for areas of the root canal which are not accessible for light. For all other areas you can speed up the curing time by light-curing. CLEARFIL™ DC CORE PLUS is designed to create a stress-free restoration, thanks in part to a simplified procedure and optimal paste handling.

A great for situations where light cure is not possible. Used in the presence of a ferrule, it will work well.

Clearfil DC Core Plus

I have been using DC Core plus since it was launched in 2012 and I have found it easy to use, as it is squirt and go. This is a Dual cure composite core build up material. I like the material due to the Elastisticity of the material being similar to dentine (6-10 GPa). This means its biomimetic properties mimic the tooth flexure more than other materials. This reduces the chance of fractures and teeth breaking. DC Core Plus can be used with SE Bond 2 and universal bond quick. I highly recommend this product to all dentists.
